The Aorus 15G XB brings all modern computer games smoothly onto the matte 15.6-inch screen (240 Hz, Full HD, IGZO). The rest of the equipment is also right: NVMe SSD, 16 GB of RAM (dual-channel mode), a mechanical keyboard, and a Thunderbolt 3 port.

Well I sure do hope there is no version with a i9/2080 combo for this laptop model, because they will have to sell an optional heat deflector to protect the desk or table it rests on when gaming. It does have a great battery, keyboard and ports that are it's strong points.

Now stick and AMD cpu in there and drop the weight 200g, and you'll fix the main problem.

2290 euro for that?!!!
Retail prices for components from this notebook:
1. 2070 Super for desktop - 550$
2. i7 10875$ - 450$
3. mainboard - 80-100$
4. IPS panel  - 100$
5. Mem - 65$
6. Battery - 60-70$.
7. SSD - 70$
8. Power supply - 30$.
9. Case+keyboard  ~100$ max.
10. Windows Home - 80$.

Sum  550+450+100+100+65+70+70+30+100+80 and total:
1515$ or 1270-1280 euro.

2290 - 1280 = +1000 еuro for nothing or for air!!!

Question for manufacturer for what +1000 euro?
Is it the wildest greed and complete inadequacy with the price or the idiocy of the company's marketers?

Disappointed by ms screen response times, thought it will be less than 3ms as advertised. But 11/16ms+ is a joke. How can it be used for competitive gaming? Is 300Hz panel different?

I have the i9, 2080 version.  Its noisy, but a great laptop.  Heat hasn't been an issue.  But the fans crank quickly and often.

@NikoB That's because there is no competition for Intel and Nvidia so far. I hope from next January when AMD announced Radeon 6000 and Ryzen 5000 mobile series everything will change in the future. I think I had red somewhere about that, price will fall for gaming laptops from next summer 2021. What is enough is enough. Those two companies ruling the market last 8 years and selling laptops for unreasonable prices.

You do realize that gaming laptops are usually more expensive than desktops right? Not really an apple to apple comparison. however laptops come with KB and screen built-in, throw in a good 1440p screen and gaming KB mouse, speakers and you are looking roughly about the same.

that being said, it is ridiculous because for less than this price i got myself a 5800X and RTX 3080 desktop which is WAYYY more powerful.. though gaming laptops will always have a market.
