Huawei recently launched its P40 Lite 5G smartphone in European markets. At €399, it goes head to head with Apple's iPhone SE. While the 64 MP quad camera and Kirin 820 are great assets, the lack of Google services continues to be a deal-breaker for Huawei phones.

I'm not sure if the lack of Google Spying Services is a dealbreaker..

The real deal breaker is not lack of google services. The real deal breaker is locked bootloader, so no possibility for 3rd party roms or community updates. Once Huawei decides there will be no updates for the phone you have a nice brick in your hands (and I bet with "lite" phone support from Huawei will be less than good). Not a good use for your own money.

I think the phone is great. Good specs looks nice.
The lack of GMS actually gives an extra incentive to get it.
