The Mi A3 is not out of the woods yet, as Xiaomi keeps pushing buggy Android 10 updates to the device. Now, it has emerged that the company has pulled the latest Android 10 update following a litany of complaints from owners.

Xiaomi has reached another level of incompetence. And this was a tough act to follow, after-all they did soft-brick the Mi A2 for three months in a row right at the start of 2019. The fact they could surpass such level of incompetence this year is truly amazing.

Joking aside, had they done their work timely (i.e., actually started working on the Android 10 update when Google release the new version) they wouldn't have gotten in this whole mess of the COVID-19 troubles. The virus cannot be blamed when they just scratched their balls for months!

Disappointed fan

Due to this failure of xiaomi again and again, For me, i would not recommend buying android one from xiaomi or buy for myself again. This is just a disappointment since we expect this phone to be updated because this is android one! But then again this happened. I will not be expecting anymore if this phone will ever be updated to android 10. Shame xiaomi! I am a great fan of your work but this just disappoints me big time 😔

Why would Xiaomi prioritise Android One phones which are in direct competition with MIUI based phones. I am not saying MIUI does not have it's own issues but Xiaomi never had the situation to completely roll back updates. It's no brainer that Xiaomi devotes more resources to ensure minimal bugs for MIUI while least to Android One based phones.

Are they deliberately trying to kill the A series? I bought mia1 and mia2. Mia2 has been really disappointing after the update.. poo battery, software issues and whatnot. I guess I should go back to Google for the pure Android experience.

I am very happy with mi MiA3, long battery life, fast, reliable, very nice photo camera and photo apps based on Gcam. OLED is very nice, the 720p only affects in some circumstances like checking a photo detail.

But i did not updated because i don't trust their software capability.

looking at the Android one I'm website, can't see any xiaomi phones anymore. Have a a3 myself, hope this doesn't mess with any updates in the future.

I can still see the Mi A3 in the Android One website. In fact, it was the very first phone shown right when I opened that page, which is very unfortunate.

We would actually be a lot better off if Google just admitted that Xiaomeme isn't up to the program standards, as that would trigger either support from Google itself, or some form of compensation for the incompetent support.

As it stands, everyone keeps pretending "this is OK," using whatever excuse they can find at the moment -- regardless of this behavior being well traced-back to every Android One phone Xiaomeme has ever released.

If it weren't for Google's endorsement consumers would have long realized this sham.

Not saying Anonym is wrong. But if you go to android one website in the UK, there are no Xiaomi phones.

Why complaining just used Android 9 whose phone found buggy when updated to Android 10. my miA3 is fine after updated to Android 10 when it was first release .
