You don't need to spend any money if you want your laptop display to be more color accurate despite what other websites may suggest. For the most color accurate display, you would have to calibrate your own laptop individually. If that is not impossible, then you can apply our own calibrated ICC or ICM profiles.

WARNING; You don't even get to keep Laptopmedia's calibrations, the links expire after time, probably requiring you to rebuy or contact them.

You also may get a color profile for a different laptop, even though it's the same screen, so sometimes you may get a profile for a different calibration making it partially inaccurate (what's the point of an inaccurate color profile?).

I bought a few of them, regret it a bit, unless there's no other option for calibration, you should stay away. You can run HWInfo to find your panel model and google it. Hope this helps anyone thinking of it.

I downloaded the colour profile from your site (i checked that my notebook has the same panel as the reviewed notebook (ChiMei CMN15C4) but after applying the profile, the screen has very warm/redish colours...
