Apple's cheapest iPad is finally getting Apple Intelligence, leaked code shows

Leaked references in Apple's code indicate the 12th-generation iPad will pair an A19 chip with 8GB of RAM, the in-house C1X modem and the N1 wireless chip, adding Apple Intelligence support, sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 to the entry-level tablet ahead of an expected spring 2027 release at a likely starting price of $449.
