Minisforum launches new budget-friendly mini-PC with AMD Zen 4 and LPDDR5X RAM

Minisforum has launched the UM780L Slim, a compact mini PC powered by AMD's Zen 4-based Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU. Other specs include LPDDR5X-7500 memory, two PCIe Gen4 SSD slots and USB 4 ports in a 0.77-litre chassis.

Well Gee... a NEW mini-PC that can play PC Games for ~$600USD being offered in September 2026!
Granted it is outfitted with only a 780M iGPU and is missing a native Oculink port for GPU expansion. However given that there are dual M.2 slots, add a M.2-to-Oculink adapter, cable & dock along with a desktop GPU card and you have a fairly decent Gaming rig.

Who said PC gaming was dead?
