Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S27 series in February next year with a host of improvements across the board. The Galaxy S27 Ultra and the Galaxy S27 Pro will get the most attention, but it looks like they will still miss out on faster RAM and storage.

While Samsung may choose not to go with UFS 5.0 or LPDDR6, it will be only on cost prohibition. Talking about from a performance and battery life, its a no-brainer. UFS 5 brings over 35%+ battery efficency compared to 4.X while doubling performance and a smaller physical size, while LPDDR6 brings about a 20% efficiency increase for the same performance.
Just for the bragging rights of "ULTRA" and "Best performance in Android", Samsung may bring these to the higher tier models of the ULtra and Pro, and completely avoid it of the Vanilla & Plus and lower capacity versions of Pro /Ultra.
