GTA 6 PS5 marketing removed amid protests over PlayStation ending physical games

When GTA 6 pre-orders began, Sony promoted the game like a PS5 exclusive. As PlayStation encountered protests for abandoning physical discs, many advertisements disappeared. While some fans think Rockstar wants to avoid bad press, the marketing partnership is unlikely to be in any danger.

Stop spreading lies and misinformation. This was already proven false. If anything they are one in the same. Rockstar started this huge push which sealed the deal of Physical going away entirely for Playstation. That's not a coincidence the most anticipated game ever has zero physical copies

Gamers getting upset about lack of physical discs is the stupidest controversy.  It's like they WANT to be upset about something/anything, and THIS is what they latch onto? 

Not the RAM/SSD/Component price crisis, etc?  You could buy an entire new license to every game you would have owned on CD for the price increases due to AI, but no uproar there!
