Sony just announced the death of the PS3 and PS Vita Store

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Store will be shut down on the PS3 and PS Vita by mid-2027. Players will no longer be able to purchase digital games or DLC after the closure, but previously purchased content will remain available for download for the 'foreseeable future'.
