Valve has arguably dropped the ball with the price of the Steam Machine. But fret not, as there are plenty of prebuilt gaming PCs that offer much better price/performance than the Steam Machine. A well-reviewed prebuilt gaming PC on Newegg is now $150 cheaper than the Steam Machine while being much faster.

Could of been worse. Was worried Gabe might actually ship this year. Luckily, it seems most won't receive their 8 GB vram machine until 2027.
