S-Game has delayed Phantom Blade Zero from September 9 to October 29, with director Qiewi "Soulframe" Liang saying the decision is driven almost entirely by polish, bug fixing, and optimization rather than concerns over GTA 6. Liang says the studio is focused on making the Unreal Engine 5 action RPG run well across a wide range of hardware, including Steam Deck, while avoiding the need for a large day-one patch.
