Lenovo has finally released the ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 in North America. Equipped with LPCAMM2 RAM and Intel Panther Lake processors, the new 14-inch laptop can also be configured with up to a 75 Wh battery and a 30-120 Hz VRR OLED display.

The spec PDF shows higher-end Intel CPU's as options than the 4 initial offerings on Lenovo's website.  I hope they release them soon, because I don't want the low-end ones.

Intel is a real rip-off with price increases of over 17% on all its laptops. Panther Lake is a disgrace; laptops costing almost $2,000 without a dGPU. People are waiting for AMD Zen 6 and Nova Lake.

The Acer Swift 16 AI isn't. Unfortunately, it's the only one and has other issues.

It's not like halo is any better. There's only below 2k and that's the TUF A14 2026.

The zen 6 that you're interested in (halo variant), isn't coming until late 2028 / early 2029. I wouldn't even bother waiting 3 years for that.

This is true, but keep in mind that Enma45 is a literal bot (so not human), with its sole purpose to shill AMD products and to always mention anything it can to be negative about Intel, even if it's incorrect or lies.

It also keeps endlessly waiting for years and years to get that new sweet upcoming AMD Zen X, whatever is yet to come 😃 When Zen 6 arrives it will skip it and mention how it waits for Zen 7, then Zen 8, Zen 9... The shilling must go on. Here, two random results from 2023:

Quote from: Enma45 on December 03, 2023, 13:35:43Want to see the performance and real comparisons against the new Zen 4 Series 8000 and please without manipulation and Intel briefcases in all media.
People are impatiently waiting for what surprises the AMD 8000 SERIES will bring us, improvements in performance, consumption, power and artificial intelligence. AMD has already been with the Zen 4 7040 Phoenix series for a year and we still haven't seen anything from Intel.
The product that everyone is waiting for is miniforum V3, a 3-in-1 tablet, the first manufacturer that will compete against the Surface Pro.

Quote from: Enma45 on October 30, 2023, 19:32:42This product looks very good, not to mention that it will make a fool of the Surface when we see the benchmarks, I think Microsoft hit a guy in the foot when it did not give the option to put AMD on the surfaces and totally imposed the 13gen from Intel that according to data they do not sell anything.
Now that the competition arrives we will see how everyone lowers the price to compete but the reality is a ZEN 4 + RDNA 3 + Artificial Intelligence, which the Intel 13 gen processor does not have.
I'm saving this product for my next purchase. I hope it doesn't run out because everyone was waiting for this.

Edit: Just saw Robert's comment/reply to that second quoted message:
