Google invests in AI research at newly independent Eve Online developer

CCP Games is independent again, but it has also ceased to exist. The developer of the single-shard MMO Eve Online has changed its name as part of its separation from South Korea's Pearl Abyss. At the same time, Eve Online is set to be used in a controlled way for AI research by Google.
