Debian 13.4 Trixie-based antiX 26 comes with lots of updated packages, tweaks, and fixes

Based on Debian 13.4 Trixie while leaving out systemd/libsystemd0 and elogind/libelogind0, antiX 26 is now available with five init systems, plenty of updated packages and several window managers. With support for both 64-bit and 32-bit hardware, it comes in two versions, namely Full and Core.

I spoke with the developer of AntiX on their forum there once. He said I must be an anti-semite because I think Cuba was behind the JFK assassination and that the states covered it up to hide the embarrassment.

I don't think he has any semitic ancestry. I think he was just trying to discredit me because he didn't like what I was saying.

Anyone who is choosing their software based on extreme political organizations, sooner or later is setting themselves up for a disappointment. Black lives matter organization and its leaders are one of many example of this. Left are known to eat themselves up in a race to virtue signal more and more radical politics and are more than willing to haras and censor anyone who is refusing to go along to the extremes with them. I would skip this one folks, there are better Linux flavors.

Insults are not opinions. They are the manifestation of insecurities surfaced as a result of realizing that you have none

There's a Key and Peele episode on the subject where one guy presents a minority opinion and another guy just keeps insulting him and masquerading the insults as opinions until he finally breaks down and admits all his opinions are just rehashings of things he's heard other people say.

We also spoke a bit about history, touching on Rome, Egypt and the Norman conquest of England. I wonder if most people know that the British royal family is actually descended from the Normans who conquered England and expelled or exterminated the saxxon rulers.

I mentioned how, outside of religious wars involving genocide, the lower classes rarely see much if any difference after their respective nation is conquered. Once a nation is conquered, typically the ruling class is exterminated or otherwise exiled while the new management works to integrate the lower two classes as quickly as possible because they need the labour.

For the lower two classes, they were working their butts off for the old management and still working their butts off for the new management. The only thing that changes is the propaganda designed to make them think that their servitude has any real meaning or purpose.

Although, he didn't have anything to say about any of the historical conversation. Seems he had checked out shortly after calling me names.
