For example, surface temperature hot spots on the 2026 model when running Cyberpunk 2077 would reach 43 C on both the keyboard deck and bottom cover compared to just 37 C on the 2025 Dell 16 Premium with more powerful graphics. Core temperature would reach 89 C on the newer model compared to just 75 C on the outgoing model.

yes, why is the question of the hour... it is absolutely insane to me that a laptop coudl get that hot!!! 43 degress will literally burn you!!! i would never buy a laptop that got that hot. dell is insane here - they need to look at macbook pro laptops and see that they are completely losing the plot.

hopefully other people will see what we see and realize this is a major problem!!!
