I also think I am affected by the PWM phenomenon. I was looking at this laptop with interest and am undecided whether to buy it or not.

I have already made two RMAs for two laptops with OLED screens because I had headaches after watching a movie. They were an Asus Vivobook S15 (2024) and a Lenovo ThinkPad X9 16 Aura Edition (2025), respectively. I have been looking for a laptop mainly for multimedia use for two years.

I also have a Samsung TV and a Poco F5 smartphone. Both are OLED, yet I don't have these problems.

I'm trying to understand why. I believe that in my case it's not a problem of Hz but perhaps of amplitude.

I would go for a MacBook Air if it weren't for the fact that I can't get used to the operating system.

If I can't find an OLED that I can tolerate, I'll go with an IPS even though I know I won't get the same contrast depth as an OLED.

I'd like to see what Microsoft comes up with for the Surface.

for the IPS lovers, the screen of this one is good:
