From what I've seen discussed in Asrock forums, Asrock MB's can be too aggressive with voltages and it is important to manually configure the MB and set Vcore < 1.2V, something in the 1.15-1.18V range. Also, manually enter values for PPT, EDC etc and undervolt ~-20 all cores as a safety precaution. Vcore fluctuates too much on Asrock even if set at something like 1.2V, it can hit 1.26V.
There are some superb guides on youtube on how to safely set up your 9800X3D on Arock, but the rules apply to all the Zen 5 cpu's as even 9600X's are dying.
