Asthenia has been formally revealed with a new reveal trailer. It's from a solo creator who has taken inspiration from games like Resident Evil 7, Dark Souls, Silent Hill, and Outlast to develop this indie dark fantasy game. Launch is set for 2027, but a playable demo will be out soon.

Thanks for your article, I am helping Manthos on the programming side of the game. I would like to mention that the gameplay is nothing like Dark Souls, the inspiration is mostly on the atmosphere.

Just tempering expectations a bit here so that people that would expect a Souls-like don't get disappointed :)
