SK Hynix leaving the market is huge, a 1/3 loss of DRAM & NAND for consumer will push up prices even more than what they are today, your home and business PC prices will jump dramatically.

Sounds like someone paid big dollars to Hynix to exit the business so as to keep prices extremely high.
That someone probably underestimates how fast Chinese can fill in that gap.

Yeah that definitely what it feels like a money extorsion scheme folding into place rather than a strategic business plan - the goal is just to make the offer as minute as possible compared to the demand, and make prices go through the roof.

China has a huge opportunity to kick US/Taiwan companies in this market, they would be stupid not to.
