Nissan is rethinking car development through AI

Japanese automaker Nissan aims to bring future vehicles, such as new electric cars, to customers and onto the road much more quickly. Nissan plans to achieve this through the use of specialized AI developed by AI specialist Monolith, which is intended to replace physical testing and ideally halve development time.

Chassis Bolt Joints having "unnecessary physical trials" surely can't go wrong.

Curious how that is determined.  Are they using a control set?  Or just trusting the AI to reliably give advice to not test?
