Well, Intel has accustomed us to a lot of slides, and then the reality is different.
It should be explained that only three of the processors that will be released will perform at their best, and prices are expected to be around €2,000, and they will practically be very limited.

Core Ultra X9 388H, 4+8+4 (16), 12 Xe frequency, 5.1, Top-of-the-range X
Core Ultra X7 368H, 4+8+4 (16), 12 Xe frequency, 12.5.0 High-end X
Core Ultra X7 358H, 4+8+4 (16), 12 Xe TBC unknown High-end X

The rest of the chips will only have 4 CELESTIAL chips, so they will perform just fine.
Core Ultra X5 338H,4+4+4 (12), 10Xe,TBC,Mid-range
Core Ultra 9 375H,4+8+4 (16), 4Xe,TBC,No X (base iGPU)
Core Ultra 7 355H,4+8+4 (16), 4Xe,TBC,Without X
Core Ultra 7 345H,4+8+4 (16 4Xe,TBC,Without X
Core Ultra 5 325H,4+4+4 (12) 4Xe,TBC,H Input
U series,,,,
Core Ultra 7 360U,4+0+4 (8),4Xe,TBC,High efficiency
Core Ultra 5 350U,4+0+4 (8),4Xe,TBC,Mid-range U
Core Ultra 5 340U,4+0+4 (8),4Xe,TBC,U low range
Core Ultra 3 320U,2+0+4 (6),4Xe,TBC,U Input

So essentially they have renamed the HX series to X"-" and called it a day

No? The HX series is not getting an update with Panther Lake and is a totally different product, so you couldn't be more wrong.

HX series are desktop chips repackaged for the mobile market, with the most cores available on a mobile CPU. For example, the Arrow Lake HX series has a total 20 cores, eight big P cores in total. Notably, it also has a very weak iGPU, since it is almost always paired with a dGPU.

Panther Lake H with 12 Xe cores (rumored to be Core Ultra X7 / X9) is a product for laptops without a dGPU.
