Stellantis IBIS battery: New AC prototype brings improvements for everyday use and performance

Stellantis has unveiled a prototype of its new battery system. The so-called Intelligent Battery Integrated System (IBIS) combines the battery and inverter in a single module, which reduces weight, saves space and speeds up charging. A production start is planned by the end of the decade.
