Uber is returning to drone deliveries through a new partnership with Israeli startup Flytrex, with pilot tests set to begin in U.S. markets before the end of 2025. Unlike its abandoned 2019 attempt, Uber now benefits from Flytrex's FAA approval and experience in completing more than 200,000 suburban deliveries. The drones promise faster drop-offs and reduced road congestion.
