The Galaxy S26 Ultra could have its hands full with the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max next year, as Apple has made some pretty big changes to the cameras. The new 48 MP Fusion Telephoto camera, for instance, reportedly lets in considerably more light than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy S26 is rumored to upgrade its 5x telephoto, the downgrade is rumored to be the 3x telephoto, not the main telephoto. The S26 ultra will have 5x (10x) optical zoom vs Apples 4x (8x) but the exact specs are not confirmed.
