Quote from: Enrico Frahn on Yesterday at 20:31:55Samsung actively developed and released a camera app with heavy AI processing that caused the original controversy in the first place, so that's not a far-fetched idea that started in someone's head. They absolutely could've explained their AI processing and its negative implications before those accusations surfaced.
I would argue that going from total inability to see the Moon at 19.9x zoom - it was nothing but a bright spot - to
PERFECTLY CLEAR moon image at 20.0x zoom was perfectly self-explanatory on its own, but I'm guessing some users really need
everything explained in detail, probably the same people for whom warnings like
"Do Not Iron Clothes While Wearing Them" exist.
So yes, Samsung mods and reps explained that like at least 50-60 times on the community forums, just to eventually, as you call it "
after they were accused", put a whole article about the matter, yet people to this day struggle to find that same article and they still call Samsung out for faking those Moon images. If that's not hilarious on its own then there's no help, sorry.
Quote from: Enrico Frahn on Yesterday at 20:31:55Quote from: Worgarthe on Yesterday at 20:14:12they didn't ever lie about those AI Moon pics
And the article doesn't claim that.
Why in the world is this so difficult with you? I never said the article is claiming that; in fact my first/initial comment here was:
Quote from: Worgarthe on Yesterday at 09:57:16Lol? Like they were ever hiding it. They even have an official link for years at this point:
That was a remark, believe it or not, not against you Enrico, nor against Hannes, but against those people doing those accusations. I said that Samsung never lied about it, they did not ever say that those images are 100% real or without any AI enhancements, I said, read the quote right above - "They even have an official link for years
at this point" - just for you to come and bam:

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I give up, really. Enjoy your day, again.
