Keychron has updated its most affordable M6 wireless ergonomic mouse with some choice new hardware that solve almost all of the common complaints about the design. The 1 kHz version of the M6 now features the same metal scroll wheel with Hall-effect sensors and silent micro switches as the M6 8K, and it still carries the same $40 price tag.

Soft touch as in the coating that always desentegrates into a sticky mess?

I'm so sick of this coating, from my Razer Orochi mouse to my two sets of Gen 2 Astro A50 headsets and several other things including a scale of all things.

Actually no! It's a textured plastic coating, not a rubberised coating. It'll wear off eventually, I imagine, but it'll just become shiny, not turn into a sticky mess, like TPU.

This is a major oversight of most mouse manufacturers, and it kind of makes sense. Even among left-handed mouse users, I know very few that actually mouse with their left hands. This is probably a consequence of the lack of left-handed mice, though.
