I have a shark vacuum, and I wouldn't invest in one again.
List of issues
The app is quite temperamental. Will log you out randomly.
Notifications in the app needs an overhaul.
Cleaning history hasn't been working reliably for months (used to work great.)
It will vacuum in the middle of the night, even if Do Not Disturb is set to those times (About once a week in my case.)
It may take several wipes of the map before it shows an accurate representation of your floorplan.
Robot gets stuck frequently, in areas it could easily just back out of and try a different route. I've come across a dead vacuum probably 60+times in 2 years of use...
It's edge detection is poor, again getting stuck frequently on ledges/door jams/doorways.
Cleaning performance could be better. I'll watch it go over a small spec of dirt and miss it, frequently.
Having said all this, it's been pretty rock solid in terms of durability, I have accidentally dropped it while carrying it a few times. It's docking setup works well.
Mostly it just needs a few tweaks which appear to be software related, but Shark doesn't seem invested in doing this. Many of the issues above are repeated on App store reviews, so I'm not the only one.
My main issue is Shark doesn't seem invested in this vacuum, so I won't choose Shark moving forward.
