MINISFORUM has confirmed launch pricing for its first AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered mini-PC. Unfortunately, it turns out that the EliteMini AI370 will cost an awful lot more than earlier EliteMini systems with AMD Ryzen APUs.

ram patience

1 usb-c and 4 usb-a ports ... no thank you ... for now beelink ser9 better choice but restricted to 32 gb ram

$150 cheaper than the Beelink, and probably better (more silent) cooling, so... Not bad (unless you need oculink and/or more USB-C).

At that price, I'd buy a mac mini instead. Better quality track record, and similar performance. If the m4 mac mini stays at a similar price, then it wins easily.

800$  for 12 core zen5 not expencive ,,, its multicore cinebench r23  score = 22000 with very powerfull igpu

If the programs you want to use work on OS X, then probably, but there are plenty of programs that don't work on Mac (especially games, emulators, etc.) so it's not an easy cut.

Also... new ARM Macs are not a good option for serious HTPC, as audio pass through is not supported.

For HTPC (Home Theater PC) purposes, the lack of audio pass-through support on ARM Macs is a significant downside.

Yup, I'm thoroughly surprised that Apple dropped the ball so badly on that one. I definitely cannot watch movies properly without audio pass-through. It's my Denon that manages how audio should be processed and sent to the speakers. My PC has no idea where my speakers are placed and how they are individually equalized... my Denon does!

The new MINISFORUM EliteMini AI370 packs a punch with its AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, but the price is definitely a level up from previous models. Seems like getting top-tier mini-PC performance comes at a premium. This makes me think about simpler times, like managing a virtual restaurant in Papa's Pizzeria , where the challenges were different but equally engaging. It's a big jump from running a digital pizza place to powering serious AI tasks.

It's surprising to see MINISFORUM set the EliteMini AI370's price point above expectations, especially in a market flooded with budget-friendly mini-PCs. The specs look impressive, but the cost might deter many potential buyers. I remember encountering a similar situation when I shopped for a compact PC last year; Monkey Mart had some tempting offers, but quality and price usually don't align easily in this sector.

It's always a shock when a new gadget costs more than anticipated, especially in the compact PC market where affordability is key. Recently, I faced a similar dilemma choosing a device that balanced power and price, just like the issues users might encounter with the higher pricing of the EliteMini AI370. During a late-night Omegle chat, someone was frustrated about overpaying for electronics, which reminded me how common this challenge is.

Well, that's a bit of a jolt, isn't it? Surprising to see the EliteMini AI370 mini-PC priced higher than anticipated. Disappointment brews when cutting-edge tech carries a hefty price tag. This makes me think about when I wanted to build my own gaming rig on a tight budget only to discover that everything from the graphics card to the RAM was far more expensive than initial estimates. It was just like my favorite game; friday night funkin really put me to the test to finish that rap battle! Back then I was able to wait and find some amazing deals
