Xperia smartphone sales are declining, and Sony is now reacting to the low demand. After the global suspension of sales due to technical issues with the Xperia 1 VII, Sony is entirely withdrawing from the Finnish market and is considering similar measures in other countries.

The problem is Sony phones are no where to buy. In UK for instance they have been out of stock on all devices for months.

Then they release 1VII and withdraw it due to faults and then wonder why market is not good?

Xperia is terrible

Nah. The problem is that they just suck. Even when they were in stock they didn't compete favourably in software OS support, specs or pricing.

I don't even see Sony fanbois getting them. Even people known for buying Sony TVs/Cameras and playstations, don't go near Xperia's.

Usually I would say, "more competition is better" but they never did, so they might as well drop out.

I don't think I have ever been impressed by a Sony phone in the last 15 years.

No advertising on EU, premium prices, bad hw/price relation, no real 186-250€ entry level model, bad OS upgrade/update policies...

I'm an European Xperia 10 VI user but Sony don't care about us. This may be my last Xperia although I don't want that to happen.
