OnePlus is the latest Chinese company to be caught between souring Chinese and US relations. According to US lawmakers, OnePlus is transferring 'sensitive personal information and screenshots' to Chinese servers without seeking user consent to do so beforehand.

A big problem with products produced by Chinese companies is that they have zero freedom to go against the CCP. When one company (Huawei) is stopped from selling in the US because of spying, the CCP will employ another company that is allowed to sell in the US. Then that company will be barred. Eventually the CCP will get to well-established companies operating in the US like Lenovo.

At some point, all Chinese companies will be barred from the US because the CCP will no stop trying to get our data.

Yeah, I agree. This is definitely it. I mean, surely, the reason why US has been on a downward trajectory since 2001 and has become the sheethole it has become in many places is because the CCP got too much data on us. It had nothing to do with all the foreign wars we started due to our incompetent leaders, bribed/lobbied politicians and the military industrial complex which profits from all of this.

It was CCP that asked us to waste our tax payer money on bombing Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza and many other countries in the middle east instead of investing in our countries infrastructure, healthcare, housing, education system, etc.

It was also the CCP's idea to send our troops overseas fighting useless unwinnable battles and then when they come back traumatized and injured as a result of all of that, to not even look after our own veterans at all.

Damn, if only the CCP would stop spying on us. Pretty much our problems would instantly be resolved over night.

Someone needs to sue these political hacks. Every android smartphone spies on behalf of Google and the NSA, but now they want to ban one of the only smartphone manufacturers that don't build glorified paperweights, on what basis? It sounds like no basis at all.

I'm an American Citizen and Consumer. I have a right to purchase a smartphone, or a drone for that matter! This selective bullshit needs to stop! Especially when we all freaking know every one of these devices is spying on behalf of the NSA anyway!
