The 14-inch Pad 7 Ultra is a superlative tablet, stealing the show from the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. With its optional matte finish, the outstanding OLED panel offers the perfect conditions for stylus-based mobile use. But can the new XRing O1 keep up with the Snapdragon 8 Elite?

Good Lord that camera bump! Who in their right mind needs THAT on a 14 inch tablet?..

Observing

I notice a pattern where Notebookcheck comments on hardware as superior, but for the most part completely ignores software/Operating System environment in their verdicts.

"as well as limited availability outside of China"

Well then that's a non-starter for a huge majority of the public then, isn't it?

You do the same for Snapdragon X's x86 emulation, where the hardware/battery life is decent, but the software/OS compatibility layer is seriously limiting, to the point of most mainstream games and many mainstream business products (Not to mention the tens of thousands of legacy software) simply don't work on the chip/OS combo.  That kinda negates the performance/price aspects, don't you think?  I mean, we use these devices...because they are supposed to actually function?

It seems to do your readers a disservice to praise hardware/technology and yet mostly ignore (In your verdicts/score) the serious limitations in what people actually use these devices for.  Less focus on "sustainability" and more serious look into realistic use outside of China or a bubble of Qualcomm's world where people only use 10% of the applications they actually do.
