Infinity Train: This electric train is set to never need recharging

The so-called "Infinity Train" from Australian mining company Fortescue is a battery-electric freight train that recharges itself through regenerative braking on downhill stretches. In an initial test run, the prototype covered more than 684 miles without using any fossil fuels – and in the future, such journeys could ideally be completed without the need for intermediate charging.
