I enjoyed the article.  With upcoming US travel I am looking into downgrading my current phone to burner status and looked into a new device.  Re "two of the best camera smartphones" from what I read the OnePlus 13 isn't quite in the same camera tier as Samsung S25 Ultra or Xiami 15 Ultra.

One aspect missed by reviewers is how consistent the 3 Sony cameras are in color and exposure. Take 3 images of your subject with each lens and compare to any other phone you will know what I mean. Thr difference is even larger when you are taking video.

Detailed comparison. However it lacks one cruical element most reviews lack, not mentioning which photo is more accurate. In some photos you do mention but majority are lacking. For example in a scenic shot you mention xperia is cooler and oneplus is warmer and thats it. I can reach that conclusion by myself too, but which is more accurate?

My opinion is that, which is evident by most photos, oneplus oversharpens and overbrightens like most chinese brands. It wants to give the wow factor while sacrificing authenticity. Xperia aims for a realistic look. Xperia looks so natural that it gives the feeling its from a big camera in comparison to op13. Id choose xperia in a heartbeat had it been sold in turkey
