Sega has been chosen as Metacritic's top game publisher for 2024. The aggregate review site listed dozens of game publishers that could be ranked under its methodology, with big hitters like Nintendo and Electronic Arts not even managing to get into the top 20. The previous winner of the annual rankings was Capcom.
