iPhone 16e can be upgraded to magnetic wireless charging, according to new teardown

The 16e is now 2025's cheapest new iPhone thanks to a combination of features and specs from older models. MagSafe is not among them, however, which means an up-to-date wireless charger cannot simply 'stick' to the back of the new device as it would with the higher-end 16. That can be fixed, apparently, albeit with some caveats.
