I had the 2023 model with RTX 4060. Fantastic machine except for terrible battery life and no way to choose or expand RAM beyond 16GB that filled up causing my apps to stall. So I sold it and got a MacBook Pro M4 Pro whose battery life is outstanding. But I miss the ergonomics of the Asus, touch screen, stylus and kickstand in particular.
But now they've announced 128GB RAM option, I'm excited again!

I think it'd be best to wait for the next generation or for amd to give full gpu version of the apu with just 8 core cpu.
I think more cores than that in this would do more harm than good.

I'll catch it on clearance, hopefully way under $1,800. I don't know what the hell AMD is smoking charging that much money for an APU regardless of how great it is. Good thing is there's other alternatives from Winx player and minisforum. Might be less powerful but I have a gaming desktop and a steam deck so I don't need it for gaming.

We have 0 clue how much the APUs from AMD cost. So far the only models announced are top end models that always had a cost above 2k. Once we see generic stuff with the APUs is when we will get a sense of what AMD is charging for them. Of course you'd likely expect to pay at least as much as a laptop with a mobile 4070 considering the performance.
