BYD unveils new e2 Glory Edition as cheaper electric hatchback

The BYD e2 Glory Edition is now available to pre-order in China, with a lower starting price than its predecessor. Two trim levels are on offer, powered by a 70 kW motor and a CLTC range of 405 km (~250 miles). This is the latest BYD model to be refreshed with a reduced price tag, part of the company's broader strategy to encourage EV adoption by making vehicles more financially accessible.
