Hypershell has announced the GoX, ProX, and CarbonX Exoskeletons enabling outdoor enthusiasts and mountain hikers to move faster with less fatigue while carrying heavier packs. These lightweight exoskeletons incorporate AI software to dynamically adjust boost according to changing terrain.

The math doesn't work 100wh battery, 800w motor.  To have enough battery to be useful you're going to need batteries that weigh half of the weight it can help you with.

I've been keeping up with hypershell since they launched the Kickstarter last year. Three motor they are claiming to use is about 8x the power density of any motor anywhere in science. The battery is about 10x the power density of a pure lithium battery, closer to rocket fuel than the best battery currently available. Either of those products would revolutionize robotics and be worth millions.

I DOUBT IT.

Being a canceled backer of their kickstarter campaign, I had a strong feeling of this hypershell exo thing has been a well designed scam - the faulty bionics design of causing stress fracture on hip bone; the motor power ratio; the 1hp output verses battery life. Just too good to be real.
