Wenn die ThinkPad-Workstations der P-Serie mit RTX-GPUs bisher eines gemeinsam hatten, dann waren es die Intel-Prozessoren. Bisher gab es diese leistungsstarken Enterprise-Laptops noch nie mit AMD-CPUs - bisher.

Das G3 steht für 3. Generation. Es gab schon P14s seit 2020, also mit dem Renoir-Pro.

Es ist immerhin das erste Lenovo-Notebook mit einer Profi-(Nvidia)-Grafikkarte.

Why didn't the author publish the PL1/PL2  levels for the processor in description?

On the performance chart, CBR23 instead of the standard CBR15. Why? It's confusing. If  the decision is made to switch to a long test with CBR23, then you need to do 2 tests in parallel to continue the database of results for CBR15.

AIDA64 tests show that the memory either works in single-channel mode, although there are 2 memory module in the photo (and in description 32Gb 16+16), or the author conducted incorrect tests in some heavily loaded environment, or it's a shame for Lenovo - DDR5 4800 is required to pump at least 60Gb/s in real dual channel mode.

Screen. It is obvious that this is complete stupidity on the part of Lenovo, tk. business series must have 16:10. The 4k screen is generally good in terms of contrast and color reproduction (but again, the author did not write a word about the operation of this screen in the sRGB profile and how adequate it is), although I would like to have a specialized panels from LG IPS Black, made specifically by LG for Lenovo - with real 2000:1+ a semi-matte, but the response is terrible and this is completely unacceptable in 2023. The response should not exceed 6-7ms for G2G/B2W.

The performance of the 6850H is low and obsolete compared to the 7945HX, even in the 40-45W mode, which has already been proven by tests. We need new 7940HS, not obsolete 6850H.

About the shameful camera from the early 2000s with 720p is out of the question - and this is in a business laptop, where a person will often conduct video conferences !!! Where is 1440p@60fps with autofocus and lighting optics?!

The review was carried out too carelessly on a number of measurements, which does not allow us to fully evaluate the laptop.

As a result, we still have a laptop obsolete for a year (and for some technologies for 10 years or more), with a real estimate of no more than $1400 - $1500. Maybe a year ago it cost $2000, but now you have to sell for a much lower retail price or only for kickbacks in a companies where purchasing managers do not care about the company's money, but more importantly a kickback...

Why don't other laptops have this problem either with W10 or with W11? If this is a clear problem due to Lenovo drivers, it should have been investigated more fully. By itself, W10 does not hinder full performance in any way, otherwise the test would not be possible on all laptops.

I didn't find PL1/Pl2 in the processor section, even in the text, that's why I made a remark.

In any case, the 6850H is already obsolete. its performance at a PL1 of 54W is unacceptably low for a 2023 laptop, and the price doesn't match the capabilities.

And the question is when will you make reviews of the new legions from Lenovo, which are already being sold with might and main everywhere?

Please pay maximum attention to the possibilities of manual control of coolers by the user, which is gradually becoming a standard in decent laptops. And also explicitly indicate the threshold for turning on coolers depending on the temperature of the processor cores. As well as on the real capabilities of the ports (i.e. check manufacturers' statements in practice) and work in the sRGB profile on panels with an extended color gamut - if there is no normal sRGB (Rec.709) emulation, there will be obvious problems with either faded colors or poisonous colors.

And a request to all authors - to publish a screenshot of AIDA64 Cache & Memory Benchmark where you can see the pumping speeds in caches of all levels and their latency. Because there are bad things going on with the latest series of Intel processors....

I got my 21EM001AGE today and did a Geekbench 6 run with the original 1x 32 GB module and with 2x 32 GB modules: browser.geekbench.com v6 cpu compare 1368130?baseline=1367718

The AIDA64 results with 2x 32 GB modules are in the 51..57 GB/s range compared to 30..34 GB/s in the test here.

Many tools report "Dual Channel" if one module is installed and "Quad Channel" with two modules installed.
