Nachdem bisher ausschließlich das Apple iPhone als vollwertiger Fahrzeugschlüssel per Ultrabreitband-Chip verwendet werden konnte, führt BMW den Digital Key Plus nun auch für ausgewählte Android-Smartphones ein. Da ein UWB-Chip vorausgesetzt wird, ist die Liste kompatibler Smartphones relativ kurz.
