The first two vehicles with BYD's new e4 platform that offers independent AWD motion that can stop a vehicle without brakes or steering wheel, and IP68 water resistance rating, are a big SUV as well as a fast hypercar. The U8 offroad SUV will cost US$145,000, while the Yangwang U9 will accelerate in under 3 seconds.
