Die EU hat sich bereits für USB-C als einheitliche Ladelösung für Smartphones, Tablets, Digitalkameras, portable Speaker, Kopfhörer und Co. entschieden. Indien will neben USB-C als Standardladeanschluss für Mobilgeräte wie Handys einen entsprechenden Standard für Wearables wie Smartwatches und Fitnessbänder schaffen.
