Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Switch is inarguably one of the biggest hits of "lockdown life". However, its mobile titles (Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes, for example) have not exhibited the same level of success, to the extent that the company allegedly has no new titles planned for this platform.

Not sure that's the best timing of this article, as Nintendo just announced Pokemon Cafe for iOS/Android...

This is really good news to me. I'm so happy Nintendos console business is doing well so they can focus on what they are good at: creating unique hardware, unique games and focusing on consoles! Phone gaming anyway feels like a lost cause these days, with most of what's available resembling gambling machines more than real games...
