Apple's A20 Pro has surfaced on Geekbench inside the iPhone 18 Pro Max. It comfortably beats early Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and Dimensity 9600 Pro results in single-core performance, although Xiaomi's Xring O3 takes the multi-core lead.

Looks like a very promising chip!

The better node used seems to be giving it quite an edge, even above Xiaomi's O3 chip (on the single thread performance, not sure about the 3D part, let's see).

I don't understand the issue with justifying pricy hardware.

Much better than if they sold pricy trash hardware.

Wait until you find out the max speed of the lowly Honda civic!   (~171mph for Type R!)
