China's CXMT makes important brakthrough to produce HBM3E memory chips

This achievement is double-edged: on the bright side, China can now hope to drastically reduce reliance on Western-controlled HBM chips for its plans to dominate the AI race, yet it may unfortunately mean that consumer DRAM prices may continue to stay high as production capacity is primarily dedicated to data center AI memory chips.
