Linux gamers who happen to be on low-end hardware will be pleased to note that Peter Z's scheduler update has finally made it to Linux 7.3. This brings massive improvements to frame pacing, especially on "potato"-class hardware.

Our definition of "Potato" hardware is wildly different. A Sandy Lake 4 core, 8 thread i7 CPU is still serviceable for basic office work. I feel like a more accurate comparison would be Eee PC level hardware like the Celerons and Atoms.
