AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D: Komplettausfall nach 3 Monaten trotz aktuellem BIOS

Ein drei Monate alter Ryzen 7 7800X3D soll sich auf einem aktualisierten MSI-X870-Mainboard aufgebläht haben und durchgebrannt sein, obwohl die CPU mit Standardeinstellungen betrieben und lediglich EXPO aktiviert worden ist. Da der Nutzer den Prozessor jedoch geköpft hat, gestaltet sich die noch ausstehende Garantieabwicklung schwierig. Auch die genaue Ursache bleibt unklar.

Mich irritiert allgemein immer warum Leute eine CPU köpfen, die sie nur innerhalb der Spezifikationen nutzen wollen.
Das ist als wenn man sich ne Monoblock Klimaanlage kauft, die mitm 2 schlauch moddet, damit der Kompressor mit Außenluft gekühlt wird und man sagt, dass man nur die Lüfterfunktion nutzen will.

i had an MSI board, on it was Ryzen 9 5900x, i monitored the CPU temperature during applications, video rendering, Photoshop, i noticed the CPU core temperature was above 90°C almost all the time (CPU core temp software)... This was very hot and could damage my CPU, i thought, i switched to Asus Mainboard, then the problem was solved... No more 90°C CPU core temperature peaks. MSI was good 8 years ago when i had the Ryzen 7 2700x, with 105 Watt voltage, no overheating. Monitoring board and CPU temperature are necessary, you don't know what's happening inside....
