Microsoft has reportedly increased Windows licensing fees for PC manufacturers by 7–10% — a much larger hike than in previous years. The move could add further pressure to PC prices, which are already rising because of higher component costs.

Say it with me boys and girls, corporate greed. See this is just another reason to just go Linux, I switch 5 months ago with a dual boot option and I have yet to find a reason to even boot into windows.
