Meta must cap teen Instagram and Facebook use at 90 hours a month

A New Mexico court has fined Meta $567 million and ordered changes to Facebook and Instagram. Accounts belonging to users under 18 get a hard cap of 90 hours a month across both apps, no push notifications overnight, and hidden like counts. The ruling also draws a line around Meta's AI chatbots.
