HP releases new 14-inch laptop with 1,100-nit OLED display and Intel Panther Lake processors

HP has finally released one of its more budget-oriented consumer laptops with Intel Panther Lake processors. Available in the US, the new OmniBook 5 14 starts at $1,289 but can be configured with up to a 16-core processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 2.8K OLED display combining a 120 Hz refresh with 1,100 nits peak brightness in HDR mode.
